Beijing Capital International Airport

Beijing Capital International Airport is located in northeast of Beijing, capital of People's Republic of China, and 25.35km from the Tiananmen Square, center of Beijing city. It is not only an aviation gateway of Beijing and a window for international communication, but also a radial center for China civil aviation network, featured in a large-scale international airport, with most important location, biggest scale, fullest facilities and busiest transportation in China.

Left-Luggage Counters: The left-luggage counters are near gate 9 in the arrival hall on the first floor and gate 10 and gate 8 on the departure hall on the second floor. Passengers can leave their luggage there for hours, or for days. Electric ciphony cases are provided for baggage left for hours, facilitating deposit of small-size articles. And cargo shelves are also provided for big-size luggage left for days.

Luggage Packing:
There are luggage packing counters at the head of the checking island with counter B, C, F, G, and the left-luggage counters in the departure hall on the second floor. The charging standards are: ten Yuan for each package. And the free-of-charge paper boxes are provided for packing liquid.

The ambassador of service:
At the airport undertake initial help and instruction service within the airport building, if you have any question or problems, please explain to them and ask them for help.



Electric tickets:
Air China sets No. 47 and 46 electric tickets counters in the departure hall. Passengers holding electric tickets should go through the payment and booking procedures at these two counters.
Addition: Air China Company sets up an electronic free tickets counter to the east of Island F in domestic embarkation registration hall, which can and only can deal with embarkation registration procedures for those passengers holding electronic free tickets; a embarkation registration counter of passengers without luggage is set up to the east of Island G, specially providing service of boarding registration for the passengers without luggage consigned.

Lost and Found:
If you lost your articles in the airport building of Beijing, please contact the enquiry office of lost property of passengers-Room 12026 nearby the No.15 door at the first floor of the airport building-- the safety inspection workstation of airport lounge station of Beijing Airport Substation of Police.



Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities:
Beijing Capital International Airport has excellent banking services with five Chinese banks (Bank of China, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the Agricultural Bank of China and the Construction Bank of China.) operating full service branches at the airport. Services include currency exchange, credit card services and domestic draft, check, remittance and international remittance as well as travellers cheque exchange. There are 12 ATMs and four auto cash exchange machines conveniently located throughout the terminal and they accept the following cards: Cirrus, American Express, Visa, Visa Interlink, MasterCard.



A full service post office:
Open from 07:00 to 20:00 and can provide express delivery, posting of books, magazines, newspapers, parcels and letters as well as selling calling card for use in public telephones.



Recreation: The Entertainment Center. It is located at the middle section, third floor of Terminal 2. Here you could find beauty saloons, hairdressers, foot care houses and so on. Open 07:00 – 22:00 daily. You can also enjoy a Chinese tea ceremony in a Chinese styled room with high palm trees, green bamboo and under the light of red lanterns. You can also go to the cinema hall to enjoy the latest films or go to take a Chinese massage.

On the opposite of No.12 gate of the domestic leaving hall at the second floor, the clinic will provide service as visiting patients in airport building, first aid and receiving and sending by ambulance, transmitting patients, and prepare all kinds of first-aid medicines and medicines in common use.
