Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, also known as Roissy Airport (or just Roissy in French), in the Paris area, is one of the world's principal aviation centres, as well as France's main airport. It is named after Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970), leader of the Free French Forces and founder of the French Fifth Republic. It is located within portions of several communes, 25 km (16 mi) to the north-east of Paris. The airport serves as the principal hub for Air France. Charles de Gaulle Airport - also known as Paris Roissy - has three modern terminals offering travellers quality facilities and services. An excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shops, plus extensive banking and currency, business, first aid, visitor and special needs amenities are featured at Paris CDG Airport. The three terminals are connected by free shuttle buses and handle over 200,000 passengers daily. Terminal 1 handles international flights, excluding Air France, Terminal 2 Air France and other airlines flying to European destinations and Terminal T9 handles charter flights exclusively. Terminal 2 currently has five separate halls and is being further expanded to an eventual capacity of 50 million people by 2010.

Business Service
Internet Access: Terminal 2 has two lounges, which offer wireless Internet access. Perfectly suited for travellers who wish to conduct business during their travels.
Fax and Photocopying: The Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport's dedicated Business Centre in Terminal 1 offers eight meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 15 people. In addition, there are offices and a lounge facility located in Terminal 1, offering fax and photocopy facilities.
Post: Post office is located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 for the convenience of travellers

Facilities for Disabled Travelers
The airport has excellent facilities for disabled travelers, who should inform their airline in advance of their special needs. Information desks also offer a special welcome service for disabled passengers. Reserved car parking spaces in designated areas and discount on parking is available on presentation of a valid disability badge.

The Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel & Conference Centre is located inside Terminal 2. Hotels at the airport are connected with the terminals by free shuttle buses and include Kyriad Prestige, Ibis Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Sofitel Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport Roissyand Hilton Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport.
