Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is located on the border of the northern Renhe Town, Baiyun District, and the eastern Xinhua Town, Huadu District. It is about 28 km (17.4 miles) from the airport to downtown Guangzhou. Opened to the public in 2004, it occupies an area of 15 square kilometers (about 5.8 square miles). It has a 4E standard flight area, two runways and a terminal of 320 thousands square meters (about 79 acres). It service more than 110 air routes from Guangzhou to over 100 domestic and international cities.

With the development of Guangzhou city, it is more and more convenient for your arrival or departure from the Baiyun airport. You have the follow choice according to your need:

By taxi: Taxi is the most convenient and fast choice, but it’s high cost. There is a taxi queue outside the arrival hall. A trip downtown normally costs around RMB 150.00.


By subway: The New Airport Line of the Guangzhou No. 3 Subway is scheduled to be completed in 2009. It starts from Guangzhou East Railway Station, via Yantang, Meihua Garden, Nanfa Hospital, Tonghe, Yongtai, Jiahe, Longgui and Renhe stations, to arrive at New Airport. There are totally 10 stations.
There will be a south and a north station at New Airport. The subway will directly get through to the -1Fof the terminal building, so passengers can get to the departure hall and the arrival hall by lift.


By private car: Passengers can go to the airport by private cars through the airport highway. Spanned 24 kilometers, the new airport highway charge RMB 15.00 per way. It will need about 20 minutes to get to the airport. If you need stay over night, the car could be parked in the open-air car parking or the parking building.


Buy bus:Convenient bus service is provided for passengers who wish to visit Zhuhai directly from the airport. The bus departs from Exit 7 in the A area of the Arrivals Hall at 10:25, 11:25, 12:25, 13:25, 14:25, 15:25, 16:25, 17:25, 18:25, 19:25 and 20:55. Buses from Exit 10 in the B area of the Arrivals Hall departs 5 minutes later than those buses leaves from Exit 7.
