Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is ranked sixth in the world for number of passengers and 13th in tonnage of air cargo handled. The central complex features nine passenger terminals connected by a U-shaped two-level roadway. Curbside baggage check-in is available on the upper departure level. Baggage claim is on the lower level. Brand-named and ethnic-styled restaurants, cocktail lounges, gift shops, newsstands, duty free shops for international flights, restrooms, public telephones and business centers offer convenient services for the traveling public. Other amenities include a first aid station in the Tom Bradley International Terminal and special telephones connected to area hotels/motels, bus/limousine services and car rental firms serving most Southland communities. Free shuttle service is provided between all terminals and remote parking lots.

Los Angeles International Airport Terminal Information
Each terminal at Los Angeles International Airport serves several airlines and a large number of destinations. Each terminal has a variety of restaurants, bars, newsstands, and shops. Business services, banks, and ATMs are also available. The Tom Bradley Terminal is LAX's principal terminal and offers additional services including a first-aid station and direct telephone service for hotel and car reservations.


Tom Bradley International Terminal
The Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport serves Aer Lingus, Aeroflot, Air Pacific, Air Tahiti Nui, Alaska Airlines, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Copa Airlines, El Al Israel Airlines, EVA Air, Japan Airlines, Korean Airlines, LAN (Chile), LAN (Peru), LTU  International Airways, Lufthansa, Malaysia Airline, Mexicana Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Qantas-Flights, Singapore Airlines, Swiss International Air Lines Ltd., Thai Airways, United Airlines and Varig Brazilian Airlines.

 

Business Services

U.S. Postal Service:
Postal services are not available in any of the terminals at LAX. Travelers need to mail their correspondence before coming to the airport. The nearest U.S. Postal Service is located at 9029 Airport Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90009. Regular business hours are everyday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. For information, call 1-800-ASK-USPS.

Cell Phone Rentals: Available at the Tom Bradley Terminal Lower/Arrivals Level. Call (310) 645-3500 for information.

Currency Exchange and ATMs

Foreign Exchange Desks
These are located at all terminal departure halls and at Tom Bradley Terminal arrivals hall. ICE foreign currency exchange booths are located on the upper floor of each terminal. Opening hours vary; call: +1 310 646 7934 for details. Traveler's checks can be exchanged at every terminal. Visa card and MasterCard cash advances available up to USD 300 at ICE currency exchange kiosks at Terminals 2, 3, 5, 7, and Tom Bradley Terminal.

Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs)
ATMs dispense cash from machines on both upper and lower floors of each terminal.
