Munich International Airport (MUC)

Munich Airport (MUC) is one of Europe’s top ten busiest airports, connecting travellers to and from Germany's third largest city, and hundreds of international destinations.

Munich Airport provides a comprehensive range of modern facilities and services for business and leisure travelers, and underwent a major upgrade in 2003. MUC offers an excellent choice of shops, restaurants and bars, plus extensive amenities for travelers with special needs. First-class banqueting at the Munich Airport Centre makes the airport popular for event hosting.

Munich International Airport has a popular on-site brewery, serving traditional Bavarian food and refreshments, and is also noted for its fast transfer services.

Two lines depart from the airport to the city center every 10 minutes. The Flughafen (Airport) stop is just steps from Terminal 1 and 2.

Numerous bus routes connect the airport to the surrounding cities. The bus station is in front of the Central Area just a few steps from Terminal 1 and 2.

Prking tips:
Height limit:Please note that all underground garages and car parks have a height limit of 2.00 meters for all vehicles. Higher vehicles can be parked on the special parking area for vacationers. Follow the signs to P41.

Baggage trolleys:Baggage trolleys are available on all levels for a EUR 1.00 fee.

Payment stations:The payment machines accept all common means of payment: coins, banknotes up to EUR 50.00, credit cards (Eurocard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club) and EC cards.The coded ticket is returned after the barrier opens.

Parking guidance system:The number of available spaces is displayed at the entrance to the parking facilities. The automatic parking guidance system will guide you to an available numbered space. The parking levels are color-coded. Mark the card from the entrance barrier with your level, space number and parking area.

Paying by credit card :To pay for parking by credit card, simply insert your credit card in the slot at the entrance barrier and park your car as always. When you return there is no need to go to the payment machine. Your credit card will open the exit barrier.
